ROHS-directive
This directive ( Restriction of Hazardous Substances ) sets common EU rules for content of lead, mercury , cadmium , hexavalent chromium and the brominated flame retardants PBB and PBDE in electrical and electronic products. The purpose is to limit the use of toxic materials . This directive has resulted in an extensive process in our purchasing department to ensure that all relevant products meet the new standards. It is a measure of the whole Monacor International group to observe the new guidelines - and therefore not import products that are not RoHS compliant.

WEEE-directive

This directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) aims to ensure environmentally sound recycling / disposal of electronics.  Monacor are proud to be part of this directive.
